Nail art: spring inspired

Para festejar el fin de semana les traigo un nail art inspirado en la primavera ya que es parte de un reto.

Este es el resultado!

Cause the weekend is coming I have today a nail art tutorial inspired on Spring!!  This is the result!!

Primero vamos a dar los colores base. Yo use 2 tonos un rosa pálido y un nude  que lo utilicé en solo una uña, la misma para ambas manos.

First lets give the base colors. I use a pale rose and a nude that I only use in one nail the same for both hands, I choose the ring finger.

Ahora elegimos los colores, son 4 y uno holografico o con glitter para los detalles.
Now lets choose the colors, you need 4 and one holografic or with glitter for the details.

Seguimos, aplicando los colores en forma de dos semicirculos en la punta tipo francesita, un color para cada uña, menos en la que tiene el nude.
Let continue applying the colors like 2 semi circles on the top like a french manicure, one color for each nail but the nude one.

Ahora hacemos unos corazones chiquitos en la uña nude. Yo los hice con un pincel común bien finito. Con el mismo pincel bordeamos los semicirculos con el color glitter u holografico, y también algunos corazones.

Now lets make some little hearts on the nude nail. I made mines with a regular thin brush. With the same brush and the holographic or glitter color make a polish line separating the bright colors from the base one, and also do the same on some hearts.

Finalizamos con un top coat. Recuerden como siempre dejar secar muy muy bien entre cada paso.
End with a top coat. As alway remember to let dry really well between steps!!

ELF: Ultimate Eye Set

Holas!!!!

Que tal? Como les conté el otro día me trajeron un par de cosas de ELF y sigo mostrándoles como me fue con cada uno de ellos. Hoy nos toca el set Ultimate Eye, en el que viene todo para lograr un buen look de ojos.

How are you? As I had told you, I got some new ELF make up, and I keep showing you my experience with them.  Today is time for the Ultimate Eye set, in which it came everything to make a great eye look.

El set trae un primer, una mascara, un delineador de lápiz y una paleta con 4 colores.
The set brings an eye primer, a mascara, a pencil eyeliner  and a 4 color palette.

El primer viene con aplicador, es un tono claro  que ayuda a dejar el color del párpado uniforme además de lograr que dure mas el color. Con un poquito se cubre todo el párpado.

The primer came with a nice applicator, it has a fair color that helps to uniform the lid color, besides to make the color last longer. With a little bit it goes a long way.

Mascara y delineador.
El delineador no es nada del otro mundo, si es suave al pasar y se desliza bien, tiene un buen tono negro.
La mascara me encanta quedan super lindas las pestañas y el color es bien intenso. Cuesta sacar por la noche, no como una waterproof, pero tiene mucho pigmento y cuesta un poco mas que otras.

Mascara and eyeliner.
The eyeliner isn`t anything special, it feels smooth and applicates nicely, has a great black shade.
The mascara is great!! I love it, the lashes look beautiful and really black, it has lot of pigment, that is why it tooks longer to remove it at night, but nothing too complicated, it`s not like waterproof.

Las sombras de esta paleta si bien no son super pigmentadas, tampoco están nada mal, de hecho yo siempre veo que recomiendan esta marca para las chicas que recién empiezan con la carrera de maquillaje. Como ven viene escrito en relieve para que es cada color, el que dice Line a mi me encanto para mis cejas!!! así que es el que mas estoy usando hasta ahora. El que menos se nota es que segundo LID, a pesar de que parece un marroncito es un nude super claro, por lo que decidí que o uso BASE o LID como base, la diferencia es que uno es brilloso y el otro mate.

The shadow palette,  if it`s no so pigmented, is not bad at all, is like in the middle, I even heard a lot of beauty gurus that recomend the ELF eyeshadows to begginer make up artists. it has wrote for wich use is each color. LINE is my fav for eyebrows!! I been using it every day. The one that almost you don`t notice is LID, even that it looks a nice brown color on the palette it`s almost a pale nude on my skin, So for me is BASE or LID as base color, just one is shimmer and the other one mate.

Acá les muestro como fue el paso a paso con los colores menos el bronce por que era muy temprano a la mañana y me parecía demasiado fuerte :).

Here is my make up using the products, I only left begind the bronce color (CREASE) cause it was too early in the morning and seems too bright for me :).

ELF Hyper Shine Gloss Review

Hola!!
Como están?? Yo por mi parte contenta ya que he conseguido gracias a una amiga que viajo varios cosméticos de ELF, así que vamos a empezar con el gloss. Yo en particular no soy muy amante de los gloss ya que hay que re aplicarlo muchas veces durante el día,  pero a veces sirve para bajar un poco algunos tonos de labial, que es para lo que yo mas los uso. Aquí esta review!

How are you?? I `m really happy cause thanks to a friend that travel I got some ELF products, so today I`m going to start with the Gloss review. Me in particular not a big fan of glosses, I need to re apply it too many times during the day, but sometimes I use them to undertone some lipsticks. Here is my review!

Primero hablemos un poco del envase, me gusta el aplicador tipo pincel, es como el blush de Amodil del cual tienen la review aquí, y el sistema es de girar de a poco hasta que sale el producto, la primera vez hay que girar unas 10 veces aprox y luego con una vuelta ya sale el producto.

First let`s talk about the packaging, I love the brush type applicator, is like the Amodil blush that you can find the review here,  and the system is twist the bottom till you get the product, at first you need to twist it  around 10 times, but then just with one you will get the gloss.

Es el tono #911  Fairy es un rosa super pálido, casi transparente, como dije es ideal para bajar los tonos de algunos labiales por que los suaviza. al principio se siente un poquito pegajoso pero no mucho y cuando se asienta un poco ya no se siente nada. El aroma es riquisimo, dulce, pero no muy fuerte.

The shade is #911 Fairy, is a super pale rose, almost transparent, like I said is ideal for undertone some lipsticks, at the beggining you feel just a little bit sticky but once it settles you won`t fell anything. The scent is nice, kinda sweet, but not too strong.

BB Cream: Dream Fresh by Maybelline

Buenos Días!!

Y si chicas finalmente hace poquito nos empezaron a llegar las BB creams de las que tanto se hablan en otros países a la Argentina. Yo por mi parte logre meter mano a la de Maybelline (que si bien aun no llego hay paginas en las que se pueden conseguir al final les cuento una) Yo la compre en Chile en la cadena de farmacias Salcobrand, en la que se encuentra en el Costanera Center.

So finally BB creams started to appear in Argentina. I was able to get the Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream, (that still wasn`t launch by Maybelline here but a lot of web sites sell them), I got this one in Chile, in the pharmacy shop Salcobrand,  Costanera Center mall.

Primero les cuento un poco de ella. Promete 8 beneficios: Atenúa imperfecciones, hidrata la piel, se ajusta al tono de piel, apariencia lisa, protector UV SPF 30, da luminosidad natural, formula no grasosa, y sensacion fresca. Contiene 30 ml y hay 5  tonos, pero solo habia disponibles 3, claro, medio y oscuro. Yo compre el medio. La contextura es de crema un poco liquida con color, no tiene olor. Con un poco cubre bastante superficie así que recomiendo poner de a poco para no desperdiciar producto.

First let me tell you a little bit about this bb cream. It promise 8 benefits: blurs imperfections, brightens, evens skin tone, smoothes, hydrates, enhances, protects with SPF 30, 0% oils and heavy ingredients. It has 30 ml of product and there are 5 shades, but in the store was only 3 available, fair, medium, and dark. I got medium. The texture is like a liquid cream with color, and has no scent. With a little bit goes a long way so, be careful.

Ya la he probado por unos 2 meses (no la uso todos los días) y me gusta mucho el resultado. Cubre bastante, aunque claro no como una base, pero deja el rostro parejo y oculta las zonas rojas ( en mi caso lo único que no cubrió del todo es mi mancha roja que es bastante pigmentada, pero la disimula bastante)
La aplico con los dedos, y la dejo asentar por unos 3 minutitos y luego aplico polvo, al menos en la zona T por que a lo largo del día se puede poner un poco brillosa esa zona, pero no demasiado y con el polvo dura muy bien todo el dia.
I had use it for 2 months ( don`t use it every single day) and I like the results. It covers a lot, not as a foundation, but it does the job it promise. Of course you still can see my red spot couse it`s really pigmented, but it hides it a little bit. The rest of my red areas looks great! I recommend using powder, at least on the T zone, cause at the end of the day it mught get a little bit shinny, but with powder you will be ok.

 Y acá unas fotos de la cara completa, el lado izquierdo de la pantalla es donde aplique la BB Cream y el lado derecho es el que esta a cara lavada (ignoren mi cara de destruccion!! la saque a la noche cuando llegue a mi casa :D)

Here are some photos of my entire face, left side of the screen has BB cream on, and the right side doesn`t. ( don`t pay too much attention to my tired face!! I took these ones at night when I get home from work :D)
